Rules for Submitting Papers

TECHNICAL SESSIONS

WHAT ARE THEY?

Consists in grouping several themes into major areas of knowledge about Pulp, Paper, Environment, Engineering and Automation, Recovery and Energy, and Forestry. The papers or cases submitted that contain innovative potential may be included in one of the six sub-areas.

TECHNICAL SESSIONS

The Technical Sessions consist of 30-minute lectures that identify with the themes listed above.

POSTERS SESSION

OThe posters will be exhibited during all three days. The themes will be the same as those addressed in the Technical Sessions.

Note: works with a commercial focus (such as those that advertise the sale of products, services or technology) will not be accepted for the ABTCP 2019 Congress.

CONGRESS ANNALS

All papers accepted for oral presentation and in the form of poster will be divulged. All other technical presentations will be made available for consultation, when authorized by the authors.

COPYRIGHT

Authors of papers hereby expressly authorize in advance, when registering, use of their work by ABTCP, by any mean and form of publication or storage, in accordance with copyright and ownership laws in effect, and legislation and regulations pertaining to electronic law.

WHERE TO PRESENT

Papers will be presented in the corresponding sessions according to the thematic sub-areas. To better understand which session to present a paper, consider the following areas: Pulp, Paper, Environment, Engineering and Automation, Recovery and Energy, and Forestry.

PAPER STRUCTURE

Before submitting a paper, carefully read all the specifications, as well as its structure. Papers that do not comply with the specifications and do not satisfy the requirements will not be accepted by the evaluation committee.

WHO CAN PRESENT PAPERS AND WHERE

Suppliers and manufacturers of the pulp and paper sector, PhD, PhD students, Masters, Masters students, specialists, graduates, professors, researchers and technicians. The papers approved will be presented in the ABTCP technical sessions (oral or poster).

PAPER EVALUATION RULES

ABTCP selects a committee of academia and technicians from the sector to assess the papers submitted. Evaluation criteria factors include practical applicability, logic structure, technological innovation, technical quality. When necessary, the Evaluation Committee will request corrections to papers that do not comply with the above criteria.
